The Morso slow combustion fireplaces are made from superior cast iron (almost twice as thick as the sheet-iron that some other stoves are made from). Cast Iron is the steel of choice for slow combustion because it transfers heat very slowly, which makes it well-suited to vast temperature changes and heat retention.
