About
The Northern Flame Logi is a small, cheerful, multi fuel fireplace manufactured out of pure, Australian mineral iron ore. The cast iron is top quality and durable and is not produced from recycled or excess materials. It features a cast iron door, body and a thick, cast-iron top which radiates heat long after the fire has dimmed down. There is a polished chrome handle and air control fittings. Heating a kettle of water is made easy on its cast iron flat top. This is very useful with our current power cuts. The Logi will fit into most fireplace hearths.
There is Primary and Secondary Combustion with air controls. Primary air enters via the air vent at the bottom of the door and feeds the fire from under the grate. Secondary air enters via the air vent above the door and is used for Secondary combustion and for the pre-heated air wash system that keeps the glass cleaner for longer. The Logi also has an excellent overnight burn system. Its airtight door gaskets and manually controlled air vents allow you to close the stove down overnight. All you need to do is reopen the air controls, add fuel, and watch the fire roar again in the morning.
The combustion chamber is lined with cast-iron firebricks and comfortably loads 30cm logs. There are heat resistant fire rope seals on the door, a removable cast iron baffle plate, and a cast iron, multi-fuel ash riddling grate. The ash pan is removable for an easy clean. Included is an ash pan tool for ash pan removal; a glove for opening the door and adjusting the air levers; and an instruction manual. The legs of the Logi are removable.
The Logi is a high-end product manufactured to European design, in China, for the U.K. market. It is CE and British Standard EN approved and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

SIA 2022 ECO-DESIGN READY
This fireplace meets future stove regulations and exceeds the Eco-Design 2022 requirements for burning both wood and smokeless fuel. The Eco-Design scheme is an initiative to reduce harmful emissions and will become mandatory in Europe for all stoves by 2022. Recent studies have found Eco-Design Ready stoves can offer a 90% reduction in particulates released when compared to an open fire and 80-94% reduction when compared to an old fireplace. All test results have been carried out by Kiwa Gastec in the UK. In South Africa it is not a requirement to have an Eco-Design Ready appliance; however those who are concerned by the impact of their consumer choices on the environment are choosing Eco-Design Ready appliances.
DEFRA APPROVED STOVE
A Defra approved stove is an industry term for a SE (smoke exempt) fireplace which has been approved to burn specific fuels in a smoke controlled area that would usually not be allowed (i.e. wood).
The Northern Flame Ecosy+ Hampton boasts some of the lowest combined readings of NOx, CO and dust of any wood burning stove sold in the UK. Its modern design boasts a large window; a handmade, ‘twist’ handle with wood embellishment and a polished steel leaver.
It features a 30mm thick cast iron door; a 10mm thick steel top; 5mm thick steel sides and a removable baffle plate design. The vermiculite lining the combustion chamber is 30mm thick and the chamber comfortably loads 25cm logs. The Hampton 5 is a wood burning only stove and therefore doesn’t require a grate or an ash pan, as wood loves to burn on a flat base. Under the stove is a simple push pull lever that gives you accurate control over the fire and the vent plate is mechanically attached to the body. Adjustable bolts on the legs aid with levelling on uneven surfaces and there is an option to connect to an external air intake. Included are an instruction manual and a glove for adjusting the air inlet and for opening the door.
The Hampton is effectively ‘a stove within a stove’, where the air drawn in from the rear is fed between two layers of steel. The air is then dispersed over the fire from a series of holes high inside the rear of the chamber. This re-introduced Tertiary air re-burns the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The remaining air speeds up as it rises over the fire and is released like a curtain of heat that burns the glass clean (Air Wash technology).
The Hampton is a high end product with a SIA 2022 Eco-Design & DEFRA certification. It is manufactured according to European design in China for the U.K. market. It is CE and British standard approved by KIWA Gastec and comes with a 5 year limited warranty.

DEFRA APPROVED STOVE
A Defra approved stove is an industry term for a SE (smoke exempt) fireplace which has been approved to burn specific fuels in a smoke controlled area that would usually not be allowed (i.e. wood).
The Northern Flame Ecosy+ Panoramic boasts a minimalist design with a polished steel handle. The air controls are situated under the bottom ash lip which allows for a larger window and a maximised view of the fire. Its output range is between 3.6-7kW.
It features a 30mm thick cast iron door; a 10mm thick steel top; a 5mm thick steel body and a removable baffle plate design. The vermiculite lining the combustion chamber is 30mm thick and the chamber comfortably loads 30cm logs. The Panoramic is a wood burning only stove and therefore doesn’t require a grate or an ash pan, as wood loves to burn on a flat base. Adjustable bolts on the legs aid with levelling on uneven surfaces and there is an option to connect to an external air intake. Included are an instruction manual and a glove for adjusting the air control and for opening the door.
This model is perfect if you require a physically large fireplace, but can only install one with a 7 kW output. This has been achieved by clever design as the external body is very wide, but the depth is shallow. There is also a twin layer construction and the inner layer has been tapered in at the sides to make the fire box slightly smaller and the heat output lower. The air supply is solely drawn in from the rear and is fed between two layers of steel. The Panoramic has an advanced secondary / tertiary clean burn system. This means you are benefiting from every bit of heat from your fuel and you also burn less wood as you don’t have to reload as often.
There is an ‘optional extra’ bench stand available for this model. The stand is 27.5cm high and provides log storage as well as increased height.
The Panoramic is a high end product with a SIA 2022 Eco-Design & DEFRA certification. It is manufactured according to European design in China for the U.K. market. It is CE and British standard approved by KIWA Gastec and comes with a 5 year limited warranty.

About
The Ecosy+ Snug Tall is the standard Snug model…just taller. It is one of the most up to date and cleanest burning multi-fuel stoves sold in the U.K. Its modern design is well suited to most interiors. The large window and polished steel handle and leavers also add to its good looks. Its output range is between 4.7 – 10.2 kW.
It features a 30mm thick cast iron door; a thick steel body and a unique baffle plate design. The vermiculite lined combustion chamber comes with a removable, galvanised ash pan and comfortably loads 30cm logs. Adjustable bolts on the legs aid with levelling on uneven surfaces and there is an option to connect to an 100mm external air intake. Included are an instruction manual; a glove for adjusting the air inlets and for opening the door, and a tool for removing the ash pan.
The Snug Tall burns both wood and smokeless coal. For wood, which prefers a flat bed with air flowing over the top, the air controls can completely cut off the primary air under the fire with the left lever, whilst leaving the secondary / tertiary air open with the right lever. To burn smokeless coal, the permeable, coal grate allows the ash to fall through and the air controls allow the primary air to be fully open letting air rush under the fire whilst the secondary / tertiary air is almost fully cut off.
The Snug Tall is effectively ‘a stove within a stove’, where the air drawn in from the rear is fed between two layers of steel. The air is then dispersed over the fire from a series of holes high inside the rear of the chamber. This re-introduced Tertiary air re-burns the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The Northern Flame Ecosy+ Azar is a large, heavy duty, multi fuel fireplace with a cast iron door; a 10mm thick steel top and 5mm thick steel sides. Its contemporary design is finished off with a polished chrome handle and air control levers. It features traditional styling and modern efficiency which makes it suitable for any interior.
The tertiary clean burning system is controlled by a chrome pull leaver on the base of the stove. This leaver opens and closes a vent that pulls air over the fire, which re-burns the gases in the stove. This results in much higher efficiency and an eco-friendly product with lower fuel usage. It’ll save you money over the years. There are primary and secondary combustion air controls and a pre-heated air wash system to help keep the glass cleaner for longer. The air tight door gaskets and manually controlled air flow controls give you ultimate control over your fire.
The combustion chamber is lined with vermiculite firebrick and comfortably loads 35cm logs. It comes with a cast iron, multi-fuel ash riddling grate and a removable ash pan for an easy clean. Included is an ash pan tool for ash pan removal; a glove for opening the door and adjusting the air levers; and an instruction manual.
The Azar is a high-end product that burns with over 76% efficiency due to the new Tertiary Air System, which will save the user money over the years. It has passed the DIN+ particle test that will soon be required for all stoves in the UK and it is EN Approved. It is manufactured according to European design in China for the U.K. market. It has been rigorously CE and smoke control tested through Kiwa Gastec in the UK and it is British standard approved. It comes 5-year limited guarantee.
